Travis D. Erby

Travis D. Erby is a multidisciplinary artist and photographer whose work spans painting, drawing, and photography. His practice reflects a strong foundation in visual storytelling, observation, and creative exploration.

Throughout his career, Erby has developed an extensive body of work while also sharing his knowledge as an art educator. His experience teaching art and photography in a variety of settings has remained closely connected to his own creative practice.

He began his formal training at the Detroit Society of Arts and Crafts, now the College for Creative Studies, where he studied drawing, painting, and sculpture. He later studied commercial art at Ferris State University and continued his education at Eastern Michigan University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education and a Master of Arts in Photography.
